As I learn about your history, personality, strengths and challenges, a treatment plan will be developed to support your needs. The combination of methods and how they are sequenced will be geared to your specific problems and needs.
Many clients are ready to begin clearing negative patterns and old traumas within a few sessions of beginning therapy. If you have a history of complex trauma, extensive supportive work will be important before any direct approach to heal the trauma, so that accessing old memories do not re-traumatise you. Collaboratively we will approach major difficulties in an environment of safety and support.
If, at any time, we discover that we are not a good fit as client and therapist, or you require a different skill set, I will make recommendations for therapists who may be better suited to your needs. You are always free to pause or finish treatment with me at any point in therapy.
